A very interesting course on Impressionism. Even if basic, it explained the most important traits of the art movement and talked about some of the most important artists. The information was easy to understand and it was written in a captivating way, so everyone can get basic knowledge about it at the end of these lessons.

I LOVE THIS COURSE SO MUCH THAT I DON'T WANT IT TO END:) Impressionism and post-impressionism are one of my favorite art genres. I am really grateful to learn more about the amazing artist Mary Cassatt, especially her "Little Girl in a Bule Chair". The first time when I saw the painting, it was Renior came to my mind. The vibrant blue and the wonderful composition and the lazy and relaxed vibe reminds you of a lazy Sunday afternoon. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to learn more insights about French Impressionism and can't wait to learn about the MEGA course.

I have long been interested in Impressionist paintings but have never taken the time to learn how this popular art movement started, and the artists involved. This course gives a great overview, with down to earth commentary and analysis of paintings everyone is familiar with, but perhaps didn't know who the artist was. Highly recommend this short course which provides instant knowledge and understanding of some of the most legendary painters of all times.

Very enjoyable. I loved the "gossipy comments" that created some personality for the artists.

Very interesting. I particularly liked the attention paid to Morisot and Cassatt. While I have read a little bit about the Impressionists before taking this course, Morisot, especially, is often mentioned more in her role as a model for other artists than as an artist in her own right, and I appreciated learning more about her own outstanding endeavors.

Pretty good introduction to the Impressionists. One flaw...the description of Renoir's Dance at Le moulin de la Galette refers to detail I couldn't find. But I then found it in his other painting, La balançoire(The Swing). Need to amend the script slightly
